Money Mondays

Recently I decided to start clipping coupons, and now I am addicted. I don't know what it is, but getting stuff for free, or really cheep has become an obsession of mine.

Here is one of my favorite money saving blogs! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Family Pictures

Do you ever have those days when you wish you had 4 hands, or those days when you wish you were one of the incredibles and your arms could stretch around the room? Well this morning after we got ready for church I realized that we all matched (I actually didn't do this on purpose) It just happened to be fall and we were all dressed for church in our new fall clothes.

Jonathan didn't have to play bass this morning so he was home, and I was ready early since he had been there to watch Zachary while I got ready so we had a few extra minutes before we had to leave for church. I got the camera and took several pictures of Jonathan and Zachary, then Jonathan took the camera and took pictures of Zach and I. Then..... we decided to take a family picture.

Here is where I start to wish that I had those long incredible arms :) Jonathan decides to set the timer on the camera, all is going well because Zach is looking straight at the camera smiling, and then Jonathan runs to get in the picture and Zach watches him and ends up looking up at Jonathan like "Dad, what are you doing?" in every single picture. Since there was no one actually taking the picture, there was no one for him to look at and he is too young to realize that the camera is on the other side of the room. So we have some great pictures of Mom and Zach, and some pictures of Dad and Zach, and a family picture of mom and dad looking at the camera and Zachary looking at Dad. :) Enjoy!

A Quick Update

Ok, well life has been crazy lately. Fall is in full swing. Zachary has started crawling up on his hands and knees finally and he pulls up on everything and will be walking soon. I cannot believe how big he has gotten. It's like he's matured into a little boy overnight and my baby is gone.

Here are two recent pictures of my little boy

I have two close friends that are due in the next month and I am so excited for the arrival of their babies. I cannot wait to hold a newborn again. I know people always say children grow up so fast, but I don't think you can understand until you experience it yourself. I will keep you posted on the arrival of the little ones. Hopefully it won't be long.

God has really been speaking to me lately about being grateful for what he has given us, and offering a sacrifice of praise, so here are just a few of the many things that God has blessed me with:

- Good Health

- A wonderful Husband

- An Incredible Baby Boy

- A great church

- A great opportunity to serve Him

- A connection group that actually connects :)

- My husbands job, our house, and our many other material possessions

- Most of all I am thankful for the Saving Grace of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I pray that some day Zachary will also come to know him as Lord and Savior.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great Labor Day Weekend. Zachary took his first trip to Branson. We enjoyed all the shopping, Silver Dollar City, and Branson Landing. Zachary was worn out by the time we got home. Here's a few pictures from the trip.
